Karen has decades of experience in providing counselling to people with a multitude of concerns associated with loss, grief, and bereavement across every stage of life.
As an inaugural counsellor in reproductive medicine (IVF) Karen supported people going through the ups and downs of treatment, decision-making, disappointments, losses along the way, adjusting to pregnancy and parenthood, and sometimes adjusting to life without children.
She has been affiliated with hospitals to provide counselling following the tragedy of still birth. Additionally she has supported families following the sudden loss of a child.
Loss and major life events can initiate the greatest challenge of a lifetime.
